chef Christian Gölles, together his 20-strong team, attends
to the creature comforts of our guests. He places great emphasis
on using seasonal products from the region. His daily efforts
have attracted various accolades and awards, including a Michelin
star. |
Christian
Gölles was born in Feldbach and trained as a chef
at the Grand Hotel Wiesler in Graz. In December 1993 he cooked
for the first time under the then executive chef Christian Petz
at the “Post”. The next stages in his career took
him, amongst others, to Johann Lafer at the Stromburg, the Hotel
Vila Joya and the Restaurant Meinl am Graben, where he again
worked under Christian Petz. |
In the summer of 2002 he returned as executive chef to the “Post”
where Lady Fortune had also smiled on his private life. It was
at the “Post” that he met his wife Ulla and they
now have two little girls (Emma and Lea).
