Culinary experience at the “Post”

Gourmet indulgence at the „Post“ – where pleasure meets Alpine elegance

Located in the heart of Lech am Arlberg and surrounded by a majestic mountain landscape, the Hotel Post Lech Arlberg offers culinary delights of the highest standard. Tradition and modernity are fused here to create seductive dishes that appeal to all the senses. When the scent of freshly baked strudel wafts through the air, Tyrolean stone sheep meat melts in your mouth and a fine wine is poured into your glass, you will know that you have arrived at the Hotel Post in Lech am Arlberg.

Cuisine with character

Superintended by our head chef Michael Volcanjsek, Austrian cooking is reinterpreted. With a focus on locally-sourced and seasonal produce, the resultant dishes pay tribute to the roots of traditional Alpine culinary art and to international influences. One of the highlights is the meat of our own herd of Tyrolean stone sheep that graze on the local Alpe Formarin. This is prepared with Alpine ingredients, wonderful cooking skills and a keen sense of what is special.

A diversity of pleasures in a unique atmosphere

Those who come here to enjoy themselves know exactly what to expect. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or an extravagant event, a lunch on the terrace or a candlelit dinner, each of our rooms has its own story and individual charm.

The ‘Postblick’ panoramic restaurant
Opened to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Moosbrugger family's ownership, our Postblick restaurant offers fantastic culinary delights and a stunning view of Lech. Both guests staying at our hotel and external guests are welcome. In this modern yet traditional dining room, you can enjoy the exquisite dishes prepared by our chef de cuisine, Michael Volcanjsek, while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the entire village.

The ‘Jägerstube’
With its traditional hunting lodge design, the ‘Jägerstube’ is the perfect place to enjoy a meal accompanied by a wine recommended by our sommelier, Miroslav Kalinić.

The ‘Emostube’
The ‘Emostube’ is named after the Austrian artist Emo Henrich, who is from Tyrol. It has the cosy atmosphere you would expect of a traditional Austrian room. Classic Austrian dishes and the meat hot pot known as 'fondue chinoise' are served here.

The ‘Kutscherstube’
The ‘Kutscherstube’ is our restaurant in tavern style in which guests can dine on Austrian specialities and half-board meals in a charming Alpine ambience.

‘Bemelmans Bar’
A stylish rendezvous for the evenings where you can enjoy a chat in good company accompanied by cocktails or a glass of champagne.

The sun terrace
When the weather is fine, you can dine on our sun terrace where the impressive mountain scenery is all around you and you can enjoy Austrian and international dishes along with home-made cakes and strudel.

A wine culture that is second to none

Our wine cellar is not just a place to store our vintages, but it is a treasure trove of delights. It houses some 14,000 bottles, including an exceptional selection of rarities and classic wines from around the world. Our wine list has been featured in the prestigious journal ‘Wine Spectator’ for 19 consecutive years. However, the most important thing for us is that our wines complement our meals and guests perfectly.
